Do Not Take a Plea Bargain Early

Defense lawyers don’t get to see evidence if you take a plea bargain early on. Depending on your circumstance, a plea bargain may be appropriate, but we don’t know until we look at the evidence. I retained the services of the law firm of Dale Carson to assist my son with 2 traffic tickets resulting from an accident. He was looking at approximately $350 in fines, and traffic school or points along with future insurance rates through the roof. Dale Carson’s fees are reasonable and they handle everything with regard to requesting a court date and appearing in court. Staff is professional, courteous and keeps the client informed. Best part is they handled the court appearance without my son having to appear. As for the disposition, one of the tickets was dismissed by the court and I believe judgment withheld on the other. In the end my son had to pay court costs but no monetary fines, traffic school, or points.
