How can you keep yourself, or a loved one, safe from domestic violence?

- Reach out for support – Reach out to someone you trust and confide in them. A family member, friend, co-worker, or counselor can help you navigate this and keep you safe. You do not have to go through this alone.
- Don’t stay alone – Find friends or family to stay with until you are no longer in danger. If you do not have support around you, seek out a shelter that can provide accommodations and helpful services.
- Contact 911 – Certainly, if you are in immediate danger, do not wait. Contact 911 for emergency services.
