Blood alcohol is the amount of alcohol actually in your system. There are two ways to obtain this. One is through a machine called an intoxilyzer that you blow into and it determines mathematically how much alcohol is actually in your blood. In the state of Florida anything above .08 is too much. Anything below that there’s not an assumption that you are actually intoxicated. Typically, breath alcohol comes when you are charged with driving under the influence.
